To this end we are committed in the investment and development of staff and volunteer teams to ensure they are equipped to deliver the best solutions for our clients.

The senior management team are responsible for ensuring that they get the best out their teams in terms of performance and quality through the provision of strong management, supervision and support. They are responsible for the ‘day to day’ management of the organisation. The team comprises:

Working closely with the Management Team and other colleagues to ensure a seamless high quality service is maintained across the Borough of Bournemouth and the surrounding areas within operational budgets in all elements of service delivery.

George ScuffhamOperations Manager

Beryl Ratcliffe Training Manager

Overseeing and managing the day to day training and development of volunteers and paid staff, design and deliver group training sessions and monitor trainee progress and development through a structured training programme. Working with the Advice Service Manager to ensure there are adequate resources to meet demand within the core service and high quality and consistency is maintained across the Borough of Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.

Shirley Wright Finance Manager
Has responsibility for ensuring all office resources (HR, premises, etc.) are effectively deployed and available to support the delivery of services.
Angela GarnerAdvice Services Manager

within the core service. The ASM has a critical role in the design and development of service delivery.

Working with the Training Manager, the ASM has responsibility for the recruitment, induction, training and support of all volunteers and the development of the volunteer and training strategy, ensuring our commitment to quality through recruitment and training is maintained. Maintaining a seamless high quality service across the conurbation of Bournemouth and Poole.

All Generalist Advice, Information and Education Services are provided by a team of over 75 volunteers and 40 paid members of staff.

The supervision of all advice staff and volunteers is undertaken by the Advice Session Supervisor team under the Advice Service Management function.

All project staff are directly line managed by the appropriate manager responsible for the project.
