Citizens Advice Bournemouth & Poole are pleased to announce that we now have an in house ‘Water Guru’, Jane, who can assist with financial issues regarding water.

Bournemouth Water and Wessex Water offer a number of options to assist the public with their water bills. They can help spread the cost, reduce water and sewerage bills, help with arrears and help save money and water with a meter.   There are criteria that need to be met in order to receive help.  If people are on means tested benefits (Income Support, Housing Benefit, ESA , JSA and Pension Credit)  or suffering from extreme financial difficulty, have a medical condition requiring more water, 3 or more children under 19 in the household  or have water arrears, they can come in to see us.
